Oil pan removed, just a little sludge and some crusty stuff (carbon?) on the bottom.
Non-metallic, so must be carbon.
Strainer is free of any debris.
Pan cleaned, skids straightened, all reinstalled.
Stainless hardware and a little cleaning on the timing cover.
Some stainless on the sidestand too.
Block ready for the cylinders
Heads assembled, all the hardware cleaned.
Cylinders finally arrive - UPS was really running late! They look like new.
One side assembled...
...and the other.
Generator installed with a thin shim to compensate for wear on the engine case.
